Octagons



 Students of 1st of ESO learnt to divide a circumference in eight equal parts. Then they finished the exercise by adding squares or triangles around it, and colouring them in.

Star Polygons




Another batch of exercises from 1st of ESO showing star poligons designs (once again, they had to divide the circumference in twelve equal parts).











Radial Structures: Clock Designs

After learning how to divide a circumference in twelve equal parts, students of 1st  of ESO used this division to create these clock designs:





Design of fans

Students of 1st of ESO practised the division of angles in two equal parts by tracing angle bisectors. Then they designed a fan by dividing a 180º angle several times and repeating some patterns arround the center. Let's have a look at some examples:
