Girih designs

Students of 3rd of ESO have designed some ornamental drawings inspired in "girih" designs. Girih is an ancient art that comes from Islamic Culture and is based in interlaced lines that usually form star shapes and other regular or irregular polygons. It appears in different crafts such as plaster, inlay, coffered ceilings, tiles or latticeworks.

Isometric signs

To design three-dimensional signs is a good way to practice isometric drawing and, therefore, spatial vision. This volume sensation can be emphasised by the use of different intensity of colours to simulate iluminated solid objects.
Besides, students connected these signs with some human values in order to set up an exhibition.
